Anyone else just order ?? Timeframe quoted ?

Hi everyone, ordered mine last Saturday, was told 22/23 weeks but another member of staff said December, was promised a call Monday and never happened, I’ve paid my £1000 deposit but I’ve now emailed and asked why he hasn’t told me the delivery date, he then said he doesn’t want to proceed with finance before he has a delivery date!! Getting fed up now, hate being messed about, close to asking for my deposit back and go with a different make/model completely, if they can’t sort out the order what hope is there to sort out any problems that may occur?

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you're this spun up after 1 week without concrete answers regarding the order/build/delivery timeline you should probably get your deposit back and look elsewhere. Otherwise you are in for a lot of stress.

Not sure if you are aware of the situation regarding Mach E orders/delivery timeframe, but, if you’re contemplating getting your money back one week in, you probably should just move on and get something else. I’m not sure what, but something.

FWIW, my 4/27 order yielded a ‘24+ week delivery’ estimate, so they clearly believe that the chip shortage will abate at least a little.
