Anyone having trouble authorizing remote start when unplugged?

Id like to remote start just before I leave work. There is no plug at work so I tried to allow remote start when unplugged but ever since getting the car a week ago whenever I try to do that I get “Sorry , Ford Pass isn’t responding try again later”

That setting is for automatic starting for scheduled departure times, but there’s a bug that’s preventing it from being enabled. Is that what you’re trying to do or are just trying to do a manual remote start?

Mines doing the same. I have a ticket in for it right now with fordpass. Can’t believe they still haven’t fixed it

I have to hold the start button down a couple of times in the morning if it is unplugged. It eventually works. I've been trying to run the dang battery down (so I'm leaving it unplugged), it's too big. I've been trying for 10 days and I still have 160 miles left on it. My commute is 3 miles and I'm working so much I have no time to play with my new car. 1st world troubles.

Okay, then you don’t need to enable the setting in your screenshot. Do you get the same error when you hold in the Start button on the main screen? How about remotely locking and unlocking?

Huh? There is no start button on the fob. And you don't need to lock it first.

It turns out I can remote start the car even though i can’t access the settings on that particular screen. Problem solved I guess. Just another bug in the app they need to work on.
