App does not work reliably lately.

Very often when I come to my car and start the App, then go to Controls - it shows that it is in the "Connecting" mode and it is hanging in this mode forever. When I try to start the car using the App as a Key when it is in this mode the car would not start stating that the key is not present.
I need to restart my phone completely in order to make it working.
This started happening may be a few weeks or a couple months ago. Before I haven't experienced that. Seems like one of the updates broke the app.
Is it fixable?

Did you delete the key and reset it in the Ford pass app?
