Apple Maps to Instrument Panel Directions Issue

So, this is a new one.

I generally don't need directions around town, but I will use Apple Maps, Waze, Ford NAV, etc. for traffic awareness.

Yesterday I was doing that. I entered my destination in Apple Maps and started on my way.

The directions in CarPlay, on the center screen were fine. Everything was working.

The directions on the IP (Instrument Panel screen behind steering wheel) were, broken. That's the only word that I can think of to describe it.

• They did not show the name of the next street and just said "Connecting Road".
• The turns were in the opposite direction of what was correct and showed on the map in CarPlay.
• Eventually it would give up and remove the IP directions alltogether. They would just disappear, while everything was fine in the center screen.

I did not have any other navigation app running. I did not have the Ford NAV running.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Yes, I think it has to do with the iOS 17 beta, it started for me when I installed that.

I can confirm it is related to the iOS 17 beta. I submitted feedback to Apple for this. I can duplicate this if I cause Apple Maps to recalculate the route. On my morning drive to work, Apple Maps wants me to turn left at the end of my street. I usually turn right. Once it recalculates the directions in the IPC are still on order, but they are ahead or behind by a few turns.

I'm curious if any other iOS 17 users can duplicate this by forcing Maps to recalculate the route.
