Approach Lighting without locking?

Hi Everyone, I love the approach lighting, interior turning on, and the mustang logos that are projected (2021 Select), but I dont use the auto lock/unlock feature. Can this be done? Is there a specific setting for each? I use phone as key, and the approach unlock isnt always reliable, I also generally never lock my car so it wasnt worth the effort, but I really like the projected mustangs on approach.

No, it is tied to auto lock and unlock on approach, I believe.

I don’t use walk-away lock, but still get the approach lighting (minus the pony puddle lights if it’s unlocked). If you want the puddle lights too, the car has to be locked, but it doesn’t have to be automatically locked. Unlock on approach isn’t a thing.

Ok so at night I will use the key fob instead of the phone and activate puddle lights. I can handle that.

Not necessary locked, it's enough to have folded mirrors.

True, but those are the same for me since my mirrors are only ever folded when the car is locked. Thanks for the clarification.

I fold every time I pull into the garage, it's a tight fit.
