So knowing what everyone tells me, it's only available on 2021 models and removed thereafter. I was waiting for my son to come out of his drumming class and my daughter asks what the P button is for, I told her it just shows parking locations (never tried it, thats what everyone said and its not something that excited me enough to actually press). I pressed it to show her, and then noticed there was, in addition to the parking a button on screen that said parking assist. I clicked it and up came different methods of parking. I thought it must just be left over documentation from before. It had the three different types of parking options, reversing in, bay parking etc. I was in a normal car park with bays painted as usual. One of the options (parking in a bay) came up with drive forward and indicate left or right. I thought no way, so I repositioned the car to see what would happen, set the option again and drove forward as instructed. It only bloody worked! As I went past a car it asked me to stop and go into neutral and then press the P button, it drove into the bay.
I was under the impression that no cars with any packs had it based on what people in various different forums had said. I have parking assist in my 2023 AWD Premium!
Video for proof, but apologies for the excited shouting, I wasn't prepared and took me completely by surprise. I got a little overexcited.
Can anyone explain?
