2025 Premium EAWD... I've noticed when it's snowing and the road hasn't been cleared, the lower edge of the back hatch (where the "close" button is) gets covered in snow - because it's outside the seal on the frame, I'm assuming. The back license plate even gets completely snow covered, but I'm more interested in the snow/moisture covering the close button, and what that might do to the back hatch long term (corrosion wise, or screwing up the close button & related electronics).

Anyone else seen this? Is this something I should bring up with the dealer? I haven't taken a picture of it, but we're forecasted to get snow tomorrow so I might be able to get a picture then

The surface of the hatch around the exterior open/close button and rear license plate lights is plastic, so corrosion isn’t really an issue for that part. The plastic may become brittle after repeated thermal excursions into very low temperatures. This might be the larger concern. The button itself is pretty water-tight so no real concern there. 🤔🐩
