Mine does this occasionally. Hoping the Sync software update they're promising this month also addresses that, but could be an IPMA issue too.

This happens fairly often in our Lincoln Corsair. There is a recall on the Corsair but the dealer says the parts to repair are not available and has been the case for several months.

Hi....that happens on the grounds that it's a bad quality camera, the picture is profoundly packed, so it's acquiring data from past edges to deliver the current casing. So any data that wasn't there already is broken.

Sounds like this is even more an equipment/firmware issue in the camera than a product one. I keep thinking about whether an update to the uconnect programming can distant into the camera and update the firmware.

I've also had this happen a hand full of times, a few times it was pretty bad. Normally its just a little noticeable, but I've had some times where cars skip back all the way to the other side of the camera.

Yeaap, happens on mine, inconsistent, no pattern. Manually initiated camera or automatically when in reverse. Actually almost always when in reverse. When first starting up the car, or when when coming home after a long drive.

Also happened on the demo cars back when they were doing the road tours. Was hoping that was a pre-production thing only. No luck, and from your post it looks to still be the case even on recently built ones.
