To get an accurate reading, you need to charge to 100%, then drive down below 20%, then charge to 100%, and check at a battery temp of 77 degrees.

Probably a dumb question, but when driving down below 20%, it doesn't have to be in a single drive does it? The only time I'd be able to do that would be on a road trip. Otherwise it would take me a week to get below 20%.

Nope. Charge to 90 or greater and commute back and forth to work for a week to get to a low state of charge is fine.

By the time my battery degrades to the point of being unusable, I'm confident I'll be able to replace it with a Flux Capacitor. Been saving my banana peels for that day. ?

I pluged in my dongle to do a longer trip this weekend and after only 17 months and 26,000 km, my battery has degraded 10.5%. Is this normal, seems a bit high to me. I can count on one hand how many times I have fast charged and very seldom charged the battery over 80%. Has anyone else experienced issues like this??

I recently sold a 30-month old car with 13k miles and SoH was 89.5%. I did a lot of fast charging.

The forum search function leaves more than a bit to be desired. It was easier for me to just go get the link as I have it bookmarked and do that procedure a few times per year.

I agree. The search capabilities are not very good and I do the same thing.
