November 18th is my birthday... just sayin'!

But that actually might be a little close to Thanksgiving for some people. I know I often have some things going on around that time, even if it's just cleaning in anticipation of family visiting, or travel planning if my wife and I the ones going to someone else's place.

I've had my Premium AWD for about 8 weeks now, and would be interested in meeting up with some other Mach-E folks. I'm in Santa Cruz, and "Sparky" hasn't even left the county yet since arriving at the dealer in July, so I don't mind driving a bit to stretch his legs. I like the idea of the Cobra Experience, which I didn't even know about before now. Too bad I moved my elderly father back to Minnesota a few years ago. He would LOVE doing that.

I like Dug's Dad Pat's idea of the Good Guys car show on 11/11. I should be able to drive again by then and if I'm really lucky might even have done another lighting mod or two as well.

The Cobra museum also sounds super cool. But maybe we can do that another time since the Good Guys thing is just an annual deal (I think).

I agree with what John is saying. So, Good Guys on the 11th? We will have to figure out making sure we all park together. ??

Yeah, two drivers and a much more time-pressed timeline on both our parts for the return trip, and all that...

So how about next Summer, when the next European nephew / niece (and they already are in line haha) talks their American funcle into yet another cross-continent "educational experience" in the Mach E?

Good morning all.

If the 11th works for us, we can park at the Pleasanton Hotel/Rose Hotel and have lunch downtown. The Pleasanton Hotel has a restaurant in it. Ruby’s and Roses with a nice patio (dog friendly).

The John Madden family owns both Hotels. Plenty of parking for us.

After lunch we can head over to the Fair grounds that’s maybe 3/4 miles away for the car show.

we have a couple of fast charge facilities in town. Both about 1/2 mile away. Electrify America and EVGO.

If this is what we want to do I will see if I can pick up some discounted or free tickets for the Good Guys event with my contacts around town.

Let’s give the poll a little more time, but I am definitely leaning toward this. It would be really cool if we could somehow finagle parking in the fair grounds parking area and park a dozen or so MMEs together, but the hotel parking sounds good too. ??

Looks like November 11 is the date. We will meet up at the Good Guys show. I’m going to show up in the morning (probably around 9:00 or 10:00) since I always do the morning at Good Guys. More fun to check out the stalls early. ??

Yes, we will all need to purchase Good Guys car show tickets (for whomever is actually going to go into the car show) and pay for parking. We could just choose to hang out in the parking lot and probBly will for a while before entering the show. ??

This is an informal get-together. Just a meet and greet so we can see each other since we mostly know each other only by screen name. Oh, and to check out each others’ rides! ??
