Best app for music

Any tips or suggestions on what app I can use to get the best sound out of my Mach E when playing music? I am currently using Amazon music but I'm wondering what other are using.

I’m Persian. So I mostly use Radio Javan. Highest bit rate I’ve ever heard.
Apple Music is also top notch.

Apple Music via CarPlay

You want to make sure what you are using doesn’t send a bad bitrate. Also, different connection methods have different max bitrates.

I’m not an audiophile at all though. Apple Music sounds the best through my AirPods.

I’ve heard some people not getting much sound out of the center speaker. And it seems a software update has fixed the issue for some.

VLC via android auto, plugged in via USB - Bluetooth compression flatten sound quality. Using 24bit FLAC files, I think I've maxed out the sound quality that can be achieved in this car (22 GT)

I use a 512 GB USB with my own music files I rip myself from CDs or "needle drop" from my vinyl collection. I do not like being beholden to some streaming service that either does not have what I want to hear or that can remove anything at any time without notice. I'm old school and like to OWN my music, not rent it! I rarely use streaming services.

Iphone using the player I have used with my audio for years as it is the PC swiss army knife for audio. Foobar2000 with my own collection of lossless flac FTP'd to the iphone. Works well in carplay.

Some USB drives are very small in size and will hold tens of thousands of files. I have more than 30,000 on mine and there is still room for thousands, even tens of thousands more.

I also don't like the idea of some algorithm picking songs for me based on what I just listened to. The few times I have tried this, I have found these computer-generated playlists to be filled with songs I don't like or are just middle-of-the-road "hits" that I could just as easily hear on FM radio. Thank you, but no thank you.
