I'm looking for a good dealer for Mach-e service in the Phoenix area. We ordered our '22 GTPE online and had it delivered at Peoria Ford. The buying experience there was horrible. My first service (10k miles) was fine, as all they did was rotate the tires and check a few things. Today I dropped it off to get new tires. It has 13k miles. The service advisor said, hey, since you're close to 15k miles, do you want to do the 15k service today too? I said I didn't think there was a 15k service--that the next one was at 20k. He said no, there is a 15k service, and for ICE cars it is usually about $450, but for the Mach-e it would be only $300, and consists of some HVAC stuff (he didn't specify), checking some things, and changing the cabin filter. I said no, I'll pass and wait for the next maintenance specified by Ford, which is at 20k miles. Needless to say, I have zero confidence in these jokers. Please advise if you know of any decent (and trustworthy) service departments for the Mach-e in the Phoenix area. Thank you.

I've been satisfied with Chapman Ford. Stay away from Camelback Ford.

San Tan Ford in Gilbert has done right by me. Except for the 10k and 20k tire rotation which was around $30, the work they've done for me include a windshield replacement and a couple of warranty fixes.

I've been mostly satisfied with Chapman although I'll add that they are *very expensive* and they've never had an EV loaner for me (and usually no loaner whatsoever).
Back in 2023 when I actually needed a loaner (my MME was in a minor accident and I needed some warranty work on Lightning), the did provide MME GT as a loaner. Can't say anything about cost, since all the work they've done, has been under warranty so far. For tire rotation I always go to Discount Tire, which is free and faster than a dealer.

Also, they never invented "required" service.

I’ve had good luck with Larry Miller (off of the 60) with my previous Fords, but I haven’t serviced my MME yet, but I did buy it there and had a good experience.

Not a Mach E, but my father does have a Lightning and he takes it to Sanderson. They do good work.

What I’m wondering about is why did you take your car for tires rather than a tire store. ?

I also wanted a new LVB. Plus, I figure Ford is less likely to screw up the HVB when jacking the car up. I actually bought the tires from TireRack and had them delivered to the dealer. And that is another story--amazingly, neither the parts guy or the service guy had ever heard of the tires I got--the Pirelli all-season Elect Plus that were specially designed for the Mach-e. In fact, the parts guy said that tire is a prototype that cannot yet be ordered. The lack of basic knowledge is incredible. On the other hand, they replaced my LVB for free.

I'm in Sun City West, so San Tan would be quite a hike. Thanks for the info.

My closest dealer is Peoria ford. I’ve bought 3 cars from them over the years and I’ve never had any issues. You can always ask for a booklet at the service counter that specifies for all their cars what is to be done at what mileage. It’ll show if there really is a 15k service which I think you’re right I’m not sure there is. I’ve just always gone to Peoria cause they are very high volume store and seem to sell a decent amount of the Mach e. Also if they said it could be around $300 for the Mach e service, most of that could be for a cabin air filter. I’ve seen a receipt that someone posted on a Mach e Facebook group where their dealer wanted to charge them like $228 for a cabin air filter. lol if a service center tries to push stuff like that I just decline but that doesn’t mean they are a bad dealer necessarily. Any service counter I’ve been to at any dealership for any car I’ve had will always have their practices. You don’t want it just decline it.

Thanks. Good to hear you have had decent experiences. Given the shady sale practices I experienced at this dealer, I am skeptical of everything they offer.

I've bought three cars and have them all serviced at Chapman. I am happy with them, at least as happy as possible with a car dealer.

Yeah makes sense. I would say if Peoria is the closest dealer to you I would give them another shot out of convenience. If you do have concerns tho you can reach out to Beverly Woodhull (623-977-8888) She is the customer relations director at that dealership and seem very willing to help people out with random issues. Also not sure if you remember which service advisor you dealt with in service there but Michael Quienten (sp?) has been there a long time and is very straight forward to work with. I only know these names cause I go there when I need to cause they are close and have had experience with them.
