Beta and public beta iPhone

Good morning everyone could you please point me in the right direction I have been waiting for about 4 months to get approved on the beta list

I have seen a lot of people with the new iPhone app beta 5 could you tell me why a lot of people have not been approved I have not even got a ford email

People are randomly getting the beta button when updating the app. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it for the public beta.

Yes but what about the ford beta program why it is taking for ever to get approved

I signed up for EA right after we bought our car back in May 22. I got a notice Sept 29, 23 that we could be part of the Ford Pass beta program. I have never been added to the car EA program. I think they pick EA requests at random as others have stated. I'm happy to be able to participate in the process but wouldn't be mad if they never picked me to join the program.

The EA program has been full for a couple of years now. All you can do is get on the waitlist

I'm in the same boat as roamtheworld. I signed up for EA last July, but the program is full. And while I wasn't admitted into EA, they did invite me to the private FordPass beta program. My guess is that they have enough people doing the FordPass beta that they don't need any more. But if I understand correctly, it is now in public beta (but maybe only on iOS, not Android).

If you're using an iOS device, maybe try deleting the FordPass app and then re-installing it. From there, the beta version of the app is accessed from the Home screen, at the bottom with a button that says "Enter New FordPass", which will quit the app and restart it in beta mode.

FWIW, the beta version doesn't yet have all the features that the production version has, and I don't find myself using it much, other than to test it out when they release a new beta version. (Once you're in the beta version of the app, you can return to the production version from the Vehicle tab, and there's a link at the bottom that says "Previous Version", which will restart the app again when you click on it.)

Unfortunately, this part of the conversation is slightly confusing. When people refer to FordPass 5, it's more like their saying the 5th iteration of the FordPass experience and are not referencing the physical release number (yet).

FordPass 5 has been rolled out to people downloading the application from the App Store per reports in the forums/threads and whatnot. There are Beta users who get "different" early experiences the 5th iteration of FordPass.
