“BC1.4” was deployed OTA to cars for maybe a week last year before Ford “paused” that rollout. i thought it was all 2021s, but this poll indicates a few 2023s got it unless @Obie and @load97 are confuzzled.

To this day, nobody knows how 1.4 was different from the current version of 1.3 being deployed over 6 months later. @Ford Motor Company ain’t saying. It is possible that the current 1.3 being deployed is a tweaked and rebranded or possibly even better than the mythical 1.4.

According to @Jimrpa and @benk016, their 2021s have now received BC1.3 OTA. But if that’s the case, they haven’t posted anything about it other than this poll response. Which is kinda weird and makes me think they mistakenly picked the wrong poll choice. Would love to be proven wrong.

No mistake on mine. I am in EAP. There have been a few instances of 2021 OTA test deployments, but nothing beyond that yet.

To the best of my knowledge, Ford has never formally acknowledged the existence of a product called “BlueCruise 1.4” or indeed, any BlueCruise feature set beyond what is “BlueCruise 1.3”. I’m sure they’re working on future versions, but who knows when they’ll see the light of day, or what vehicle(s) they’ll be available on.
One thing to keep in mind is that the Mustang Mach E is basically a 7-8 year old architecture.

What does campaign cancelled mean? Is that referring to an EA thing? Or has the rollout to non-EA stopped for some reason?

It was a very limited test run. I'm not sure what they found but it still hasn't been released to any more 2021s yet as far as I'm aware.

I didn’t say “public.” But many us are well aware of an official communication concerning BC1.4. That rollout was aborted after about a week back in December 2023.

So when you say your 2021 received BC1.3 OTA, are you referring to the December 2023 aborted campaign (which was actually 1.4), or did you receive 1.3 via the new campaign this summer?
