My 90 day trial just ended last week, while I have received multiple renewal emails none of them have been a discounted rate. While I enjoy BC and used it for thousands of miles I wouldn't pay the current prices, even for road trips as I find resting my hand on the bottom of the wheel is enough for the lane centering. Now if Ford decides to change the pricing to something more in line with the competition then I'll be the first to sign up.

'21 Job 2, my 3-year "trial" expires end of November. I honestly don't know if I got the trial "free" or if the price was rolled in. In any case, I have not been offered any type of renewal yet - I don't get renewal options in FordPass or on the website - just the notice that my trial expires on November 28. Maybe something will change on Friday this week, as that will put me at 90 days to expiration.

I'd pay the $600/3 years - I find it very useful on roadtrips, especially if I'm driving solo. I end a long day of driving far less fatigued when using BC than I would be otherwise. YMMV, but its not worth $800/year to me.

2021 Job 1 here, I renewed in January for 3 yr/$600. Already wasted almost a third of that since I'm StiLL WAITING for 1.3.

Honestly, the longer Ford makes me wait to get 1.3, the more they are convincing me that I don't need it and I'm less likely to renew at the higher rate.
Same model year as you but went the other way. I decided that BC 1.0 wasn't worth anything to me. In fact it was more than annoying to use due to constant disengagement. Like you, still don't have 1.x anything increment. Just lane centering alone + ACC is more relaxing/useful than the half-baked BC 1.0 any day. I can always change my mind later, but for me Ford botched this one up too much to have it in my field of view. Pretty much a satisfied customer, otherwise.

Agree with Y’all on price and only renew for long road trips. Decided to burn 15K points for 1 month. But looks like point redemption is a 1-time only for the monthly option. Why?
Hopefully Ford lowers the yearly price <$500 per month is more reasonable. $350 per year and I’m set.

Until it has a wider road network and actual auto driving capability like Tesla, it’s not worth the money.

For what Ford is providing it doesn’t warrant a $800/yr price tag. What a big jump from $600 for three years. Some other Ford models have 3 years included in vehicle price. it does not have the depth that Tesla provides and they are charging $99/mo, granted I think that is beta software. Like I saw in another post “ if you don’t buy it Ford would lower the price”. There is a lot of the features in the adaptive cruise control, you just need to keep pressure/weight on the steering wheel about every minute So you only lose the lane changing feature.
