Yea. 2023 v1 got three years included. As others have said, it was built-in to the price of the car, so 'free' may not be right.

Mine is a 23.5. It came with 1.3 BC and a 90 day trial. (I also received the 1.3 OTA which presumably has some enhancements over the version the car came with.)

While the BC seemed to work as intended the times I tried it on the interstate, I did not renew for the $800/year. For my use case it didn’t make sense.

As others have said, if I were to take an extended road trip, I’d go for the $75/month option.

Ford is adopting the subscription model as so many manufacturers have for various features. We can complain, or vote by not opening our pocketbooks, but I suspect the subscription model ship has sailed and we won’t be able to significantly change its course.

Meanwhile GM's super cruise is $25/month after 3 years (currently) and supports many more roads and has arguably more features.

Took over a year to get the upgrade and still has random dropouts. Hard to justify $800 a year for something that has under delivered. Seems like Ford should keep the price low to continue to gather data for improvements.

Still waiting for the first 2021 job 2 people to let us know what it’s like when it expires.

If it’s like my wife’s Aviator with hands on lane keeping, I actually PREFER that system for long drives.

Hands free is fun for short runs on the highway but it’s honestly exhausting as I have to pay more attention than normal.

In October when my warranty and BC runs out I guess I’ll let you know if someone else doesn’t first.

They do not take reward points. Connected services including NAV renewal yes, but BC, no. I would have renewed if they did take reward points, and my renewal was only $600 for 3 years (2021 job 1). Still too expensive for the frequency of my use.

I paid a few months after the free trial because I had a few road trips, but will be canceling my subscription this month. Price is ridiculous for something I use occasionally. Not worth it. Might consider it if the price goes down to like $20-$25 a month. But no more than that.

I love using BC(still on 90days trial. Got 4 more days left....), however, it is not worthy to pay as much.
As someone above has mentioned, Ford needs to know that often other companies cruise driving services are cheaper and even better.
Ford should lower the price significantly, so more customers to subcribe.

Remember Blue cruise is hands free NOT wallet free. Big difference and I mean a BIG difference. A $800 different.

You can sign up anytime for $2,100 for 3 years, $800 for 1 year, or $75 a month.

Some owners reported phone calls / contacts for $200 for another year, they may have been 2021 owners.

I have a '21 Job 1 and took the 3 years for $600 offer because I travel the state of Florida quite regularly. However, for $800/year I can hold the wheel and pay slightly more attention. Hard pass at that price. Hold strong non-renewers so the price drops by the time my 3 years is up. Who knows, I might even get 1.3 just before my 3 years is up!
