I was curious what's up with the train derialments recently. Holy cow, I had no idea!

Train derailments are quite common in the U.S. The Department of Transportations’ Federal Railroad Administration has reported an average of 1,475 train derailments per year between 2005-2021. Despite the relatively high number of derailments, they rarely lead to disaster.​

At least it's Williams and not Winslow . The cars coming into Phoenix area dealers head south from Winslow. The damaged cars were headed to CA.

I was looking at BNSF rail maps. Looks like they don't branch to Phoenix until West Williams.

Actually my derailed MME order got replaced & expedited by Ford and was delivered in 2 weeks from Mexico to CA.

Has been sitting at my dealer for 3 weeks now...

Picking her up this weekend!
