Broken Side Mirror Turn Signal

Hey everyone,

Drivers side mirror LED took a hit today and smashed it. Does anyone have a video or how to on removing what’s needed to replace it? I have done this one my F150 but not sure it’s the same. Any help is appreciated.

If you look up EV-Vida’s video on how to install their running puddle lights, you’ll be able to manage it quite easily.

Unless they changed it, remove the mirror glass first though by carefully pulling it by its outer edge off its clipped fixings then you’ll see the coloured clips to spring and release the coloured cover first then there are small Torx headed screws to take the rest of the mirror parts apart if you need.

It’s a while since I did this and you may find that removing the coloured backing may release the repeater light.

Hey, just wondering if you can actually pop the mirror cover off without taking apart the glass, etc. on my F-150 the glass must come out.
