I’d like to know a bit more about the performance - you know, 0-60 kind of thing. Does this have the acceleration of my Mustang Mach E AWD ER (or better). The lack of a frunk is a huge negative. The seats (heated, ventilated, massaging, and more degrees of movement) are huge positives. GM is the only other manufacturer to offer proper hands-free cruise control besides Ford (and theirs is currently more full-featured). The price point, assuming GM dealers don’t play ADM games, is very compelling (go look at Lincoln Black Label pricing for comparison). I think this would be reasonable for Lincoln to do a feature and pricing benchmark against for their EV offering.
It’s slower and crap handling. You wouldn’t buy this for performance. It’s a true Cadillac (and not the V performance kind).

I read somewhere that the EV Blazer SS is 577HP:oops:
I also read that it weighs 6,000 lbs and will take 7 steps to temporarily get access to that full power.

SS will be slower than us to 75 mph……. But like everything else on the planet, faster than us above 75.

Nissan Ariya will have hands free adaptive cruise.

As for Lyriq RWD 0 to 60 times... It's sub 6 seconds (I think around 5.7 as per Car and Driver - https://www.caranddriver.com/cadillac/lyriq). The AWD is a tad faster but not expected to be more than a second faster (guesses are 4.8-5.2). It's a heavy luxury vehicle.

The big selling points of the Lyriq are the quiet cabin and compliant ride. Actually those two attributes can be said of the Ariya which is slightly cheaper ($58K for Platinum+ vs. $64K for Lyriq AWD) with a slightly smaller battery (87 kWh).

But it’s a blazer, so it’s not going to have things like heated/ventilated seats, a decent sound system, decent ADAS, reasonable UI, etc.

Spec-wise, the aria looks interesting, but it is truly an ugly vehicle. It makes teslas look like the epitome of grace and beauty.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion. GM shares just about everything across the brands. Very little is exclusive to Cadillac anymore.

Fair enough. I’m not familiar with GM. I know Ford does feature differentiation between Ford and Lincoln. I would have thought GM would have given up on badge engineering a long time ago.

How do you know what it is going to have or offer. Silly

Not much differentiation from Ford either.

Example- Ford Explorer limited vs Lincoln Aviator or Expedition vs Navigator.

Can spec out the Fords with almost identical gear.

Looks like the only difference is a more adjustable seat, more stereo speakers and a heads up display-

I managed to reserve a Lyriq last August: I clicked in the first 10 minutes that it went on sale and paid a deposit. That was before I ordered my MME, but it came first in April. My Lyriq is supposed to be built this month according to the Caddy dealer.
I am in doubt whether to swap my gorgeous MME for this. I will check it out when it arrives and the decide. The Lyriq is larger and much heavier than the MME. It has a more luxurious interior, a better (less bouncy) ride and more range. But is lacks a frunk and the more sexy ice white MME has grown on me in the past months.

Top 2 trims of the Blazer (RT and SS) will have heated/ventilated seats front seats and optional heated rear seats (standard on SS). Several of the trims will have access to Super Cruise.

I don't think details about the Blazer EV's audio system has been released, but the ICE Blazer has a Bose system.
