Any analytics on the 26 California Edition MME GT.PE. It is a beautiful car with the new interior and badging. Most dealers have no idea what it is. Marketing after the original announcement is non-existent. I think Ford is killing the car! No ‘27!
Dealers near me have no plan since employee pricing was dropped last week.

That would be very disappointing but not surprising if the Mach E faded into the sunset. How can they possibly justify keeping a plant on standby for short production runs with the current low sales volume? Plus once the UEV platfform is launched seems that is where they will focus all resources. I’m still hoping we might get Mach E II and other variants on the new platform. Meanwhile still enjoying our Mach E plus I see Consumer Report continues to give it high praise stating that “reliability has improved over the years and owner satisfaction is above average’“. Mine is closing in on 9 months and 18K+ miles and would say reliability has been excellent and it is the best new car I ever purchased. In fact, If money was no object, I’d buy another new one to keep as a spare in case something happens to this one.

I agree. I believe Ford leadership is just following whatever the political climate is instead of continuing to develop this platform. I believe the Mach E can be top of the class and be a sales leader with just some tweaking to the price point. Even the base Mach E is outstanding.

Ford is only advertising its high profit margin ICE Trucks/SUVs, makes the big baby happy...
If you want one, you'll need to do the work, they are available out in the wild, don't rely on a dealer, they'd much rather sell you what they have on the lot...

I believe it’s too early to discuss MME ‘27, but we should be ready to see the end since new BEV platform should be push for profitability.

The fact the main car mags don’t even discuss the MME anymore as a viable EV to purchase new is disappointing. I was hoping when I joined the Mach E Forum would have an administrator or 2 that had a direct line to FOMOCO management to help support the car and marketing of it. Apparently, everyone is giving up on the MME except for those of us that love the car. I just bought a new ‘26 GT and the dealer had at least 10 MME’s on the lot with no direction from Ford on how to market, price or sell the car after employee pricing was dropped last week. Being a long term owner, (bought a ‘21 GT new in 21), I wanted a new ‘26 with the improvements as a sister ship. After traveling to multiple dealers to find my perfect car and best deal over 4 months. I found her. Most dealers that have inventory have no clue and mostly bad mouth the car. Like the Mach E website/Forum, they can’t even update the Registry since 2021 and give any indication on sales, inventory, manufacturing, Marketing or status of the car today or in the future. Go to the Corvette Forum/Website to see how a hands on information website should work. Farley should be fired over the EV debacle at Ford!

The last real marketing or positive information on the MME at all, was the announcement of the “California Special GT” in the fall of ‘25.
Nothing new in ‘26 but the debacle on removing the Frunk as original equipment ! Who was the idiot in Detroit who made that decision? All crickets, my dealer told me I can’t order a ‘26 due to the factory in Mexico being shut down due to trump’s tariffs. Complete and utter mismanagement by Ford and the dealers unless you want a dealer transfer or a used program car off lease!

Well obviously not accurate as I have a 2026 GT ordered Feb 28th and built in April which is currently on its way to the dealer.

Hmmm, has a 2026 GT Cali Special, but is complaining about not being able to get a 2026 GT Cali Special?
Analytics for the California Special? You know it is just an appearance package...
Ford and Dealers are totally at fault?
They must have done something right as you bought one at a dealer on the lot. 🤪

Congrats, I hope you get your car! The ‘26 GT is fabulous. What happed since April since it is Mid July? How many are being built? Multiple dealers I went to with the intent to buy a ‘26 GT in May and June would not initiate my order! They pushed floor plan and program cars. Would love to know how many orders are actually being built and delivered. Any information on this site?

Ford is doing a really good job hastening the demise of their EV presence in the US by dropping the Lightning and not promoting the Mach E. The only other company doing a better job is Volkswagen. They were ahead of the curve, launching the ID 4 but instead of improving and bringing a lower cost ID 3 variant to the US as their next iteration of the Golf/Jetta they chose to focus on me-too SUVs and an overly expensive ID Buzz with limited range. Both company’s poor 2Q 2026 sales in the US should be a wake up call that going backwards is a mistake. . I do hope Ford succeeds with the new EV platform but with that ongoing promotion of their current EV lineup is the best way to keep up interest and maintain “shelf space “ until it launches. Meanwhile, Toyota is well positioned to grow their EV sales further and fill that “shelf space”

Yes dah, I know it is an appearance package! That’s what I wanted in the color I wanted. I found three, with the specs I wanted. I flew across the country to see them in person and buy one. Two dealers were mis -representing the car I was interested in. There were none available within 500 miles of my location. That’s what jets are made for. Most dealers were not familiar with the car. Some had no frunk which was a non starter for me or no sunroof. The dealer I found that car had it on the lot for quite a while with no interest due to the price even with employee pricing. They were ethical and they sold the car at a fair price and a clean transaction. I am happy with deal because it is an awesome car with a great color and every option available. A one of a kind! Search Ford’s website with a specific car and do a national search, find your car if it is out there and buy it. That’s what I did on my own with no help from my dealer or Ford. I started this thread asking if there was and analytics on how many CS cars have been or will be built. Same with the Rally, bronze Package etc. that might tell us the future of the MME. thanks for your thought NY!

@Dash727,
let's be honest many dealers (if not majority) still do not have staff to sell or service EVs. It still common that prospective buyers have much more knowledge about product than dealers.

Dan, it's normal for long time to research inventory, contact dealers and than close deal at place you liked. I bought couple cars using exactly this approach and first three were Lexus IS and Acura MDX when they were just released. I even used this approach to negotiate Toyota Camry SE or XSE for my friend - he just came to dealer, mentioned my name and signed papers. Usually Ford marketing present at Forum and very helpful, I do not know where is Brian right now of course :).

Great summation Igor KI. The dealers in my town don’t want to deal with EV’s and don’t educate their sales people. They don’t floor plan MME’s and don’t support or encourage their chargers. They want to sell Broncos and trucks! A sad and costly strategic plan by Ford! I waited two years for a Lightning Lariat or Limited to no avail. No updates or information, even with owning a ‘21 MME GT.

Big clarification here, 'analytics' was much too broad of a term to get a meaningful answer.
'How many was built' was a needed qualifier.
Production volumes of any particular trim or option is something Ford does not reveal.
The only way for granular trim/option data historically is via Marti, but we are probably several years out for that...
