Maybe you're sleeping in your car because the AWS outage jacked up your smart bed?How many of us sleep in our cars? I think "Dog Mode" would be a more popular OTA IMO!!! If I find myself sleeping in my car something has really gone wrong!!!
Let's explore what could lead to such a catastrophic situation of having to sleep in the car:
1. Wife kicked me out and locked me out of the house, I don't have my phone (Apple Pay) or wallet but yet I have my fob?!?!
2. The Russians and or the Chinese have hacked my bank account and I can no longer pay my mortgage or afford a hotel. Am I just level one charging at one of my neighbors during the night?
3. I've morphed into such a frugal SOB, that while out of town or on vacation, I tell my wife we are saving money by possibly getting the worse night sleep of your life either sitting in a car seat to sleep or putting the world's best Yoga Pad in the back to sleep on and possibly having to employ a chiropractor if you ever wanted to walk again.
4. Armageddon has begun and the entire remaining population of the earth is now living out a solid Bruce Willis movie from the 90's.
Ok, fun is over for the morning!! Hope everyone has a great "Hump Day"!!!
Rivian has it, so I do not think it is a patent. But Tesla and Rivian have no on/off button, that is why they need it. I leave my cars running when going into a store in the summer heat in Phoenix, and do not worry about the timer.Camp mode is a single button version of turning off the timer, and tuning off the outside lights, with the addition of really dimming the screen which can't be done correctly, and turning off some of the lock unlock noises , which i never figured out how to do.
It also includes a cute little graphic of a camp fire.
In terms of bang per buck, i think it would be ba great add. I suspect Tesla has a patent?
Be sure to set up the door keypad code and backup start passcode before you make any more snarky comments to your significant other. You won't have time to grab the fob as you're running out the door. How many of us sleep in our cars? I think "Dog Mode" would be a more popular OTA IMO!!! 1) NEVER USE ACCESSORY MODE. It serves no purpose except to run down the battery.Questions:
1) MME has accessory mode, couldn't that be used for "Camp Mode"? Oh, wait, the air won't be on. Nevermind. Right?
2) How do we turn off the timer so we can leave the car on, with the doors locked? (I don't have dogs yet, but they are coming soon.)
1) no you just leave it fully on. Not accessory mode.Questions:
