We recently had our MME serviced for a front parking sensor failure. While they had it the dealer noticed two TSBs that were both software updates and so elected to take care of that on their own volition, which I appreciated. However, while running the updates in FDRS they managed to fail updates on two modules and corrupt oneāI suspect they didnāt have the car on a sufficient charger as I got a 12V battery message while they were workingāa few days later they finally got the car to stop displaying error messages and throwing codes but the rear camera module was showing the software was still out of date despite there being no available update. They put in a message to Fordās tech hotline to figure it out but had me take it home over the holidays. Since we picked it up itās displaying a 12V system drain message every 2-3 days. Iām wondering if this could be an artifact of the software mismatch and the car trying to update it still, or if itās likely they just discharged the battery too much? Weāre going to bring it back in, but Iām just thinking out loud as to the cause. Vehicle has been driven several hours to charge 12V battery.
