Hey All.
We hit a raccoon a week or two ago. It wiped out half of the louvres on the front end and apparently messed up at least one of the front end radars.
All was well until today when every time we passed a semi on the interstate the collision avoidance warning would flash and the car would apply the brakes, not radically like it can and will do normally sometimes at slower speeds, but enough to make me worry that one of these times it's gonna do it hard enough to cause me to be rear-ended, etc.
The body shop has all necessary repair parts on order, but it could be awhile.
Can that system be disabled in the meantime? I can rough it
