I received an email from Ford stating that my order for the Mach-E was canceled (I did not initiate cancelation of the order). I called the dealership and they assured me that the order was not canceled, it had something to do with a "duplicate" order. Have others run into this issue in the past? Did you still receive your vehicle? I placed the order 3 weeks ago.

Yes, at least one other person has posted this. I'll post a link if I find that thread.

Thanks. I've tried searching the forum, but couldn't find anything where an order was mysteriously canceled.

I had this issue as well. I did not cancel the order and what tipped me off was a text from my dealer asking about it.

I would do the following:
1) Show up in person at the dealership to put a name to a face. You can be frustrated but still be friendly. No one likes a jerk despite the fact you are probably entitled to act like one.
2) Get a printout of the order sheet. This should have some key bits of information. The order number and also your priority code.
3) Have the dealer confirm again that the order is still active, your priority code is 19 or under and they have your name attached to it.
4) After speaking with the dealer, contact Ford and make sure that they also show the order as active. Ford will also ask for the order number.
5) Keep in touch with the dealer. Even if there order remains active, some idiot may try to sell your car(Oh that dude cancelled!) and you need to make sure that doesn't happen. I just added that because I'm still not 100% sure what will happen.

My car is scheduled for production on 1/10/22. I was sent the VIN and production date after the "cancellation". Still a little worried but following up may salvage the situation that they screwed up (who specifically I don't know). It sucks, believe me I know.
