"Cancellation Pending" on my connected features

Did I mess up completely?


In an attempt to get my Connected Navigation features to work I did a master reset, followed by removing the vehicle from the Ford Pass app (but u had to do it on Ford.com ). After adding the vehicle back and completing Ford pass activation, I noticed I didn't get a notification about Blue Cruise , Alexa, or Connected Navigation. I checked the status of my Connected Features and now for those 3 the status shows Cancellation Pending. This is on a 2023 so my services were supposed to remain active until 2026 . Did I screw myself out of these now? I'm really sweating here.

On top of that I can no longer add my phone back as PAaK (it fails the connect to vehicle step)

I think you've gotta wait 24 hours before it can be reconnected again, it's part of the master reset process.

When I did master resets on my vehicle, I noticed that the notifications aren't always paired up equally. Like, you get a notification that access is removed, but not necessarily one when it is granted.

So you might be okay but I'm not sure. Here's what my notification history looks like from January resets. I don't remember if I deleted any pertinent messages.

For your PaaK concern, you may need to restart your phone before trying again.
I've restarted my phone, pulled fuse 18/19 to try to reset the Bluetooth module in the car, still it always errors out on the "connecting to vehicle" step where it gives you a key to copy

I don't know what to suggest other than try again another day. :(

I've had trouble getting keys paired with my Pixel 7 Pro in the past but more recently (maybe a few weeks ago?) it went very smoothly. Google Pixel phones have been having weird Bluetooth drop outs for months now, which is why I sometimes suspect it's not entirely a Ford problem.

Better give connected services a call at 866-861-0420

You might need to pull the full 12V to reset things. Gateway module might not be pulling down a key from the cloud.

Lol I swear Ford is like that troll who asks riddles before letting you pass. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app. Now PAaK finished setup. Also this morning BC handsfree still worked on the highway. So at minimum I'm back to where I started yesterday (still no connected navigation), except now I have Cancellation statuses still being present in the Connected Services page.

I called them about the original issue with missing connected navigation. They debugged a bit and then told me I probably will need to go to the dealer as they didn't see anything wrong on their end Now after the master reset the Connected Services status is funky but I will give it a day or two to see if it clears up before calling again

Is it sufficient to reset the GWM using forscan? Or do I need to pull the 12v for the experiment?

Ah, good. I posted right after this, inadvertently. Sounds like you have a solid plan.

I had the recent problems w/connected Nav......CALL the above number......the folks I spoke to got right on the problem and after escalating, called me back 2 days later with the solution (a FORD problem) and then walked me through all the resents, etc....made sure I was good to go, and they were pleasant to deal with....no pulling fuses, no disconnect of battery......I have had nothing but good vibes calling Ford Pass and especially Connected Services
