Car scanner app not showing some information

I’ve used other apps before for other cars like this, but I just installed Car Scanner to get details on battery temps and charging etc.
There are three boxes that don’t show any information. They remain blank all the time but everything else works and updates perfectly.
Anyone have any idea why? I just got the car, so it’s a 2023 Select with LFP.
Attached is a screen shot, the ones with the X are the ones that don’t work.

what ODB2 unit do you use?
I have no problems with Viecar, but I've seen a couple others that don't seem to send all data.

also, I have noticed that mine works perfectly when AndroidAuto is off, but doesn't seem to connect properly with Android Auto enabled. which is a real bummer since the only app I have found that MIGHT work to mirror my phone display to center screen needs android auto to work.


correction.... mine is no longer connecting correctly at all. it might be the 2/18/24 update of CarScanner, or it might have been my experimenting with AA and screen2auto

Oh you have a 2024? Those might not be supported yet. Or it could be the OBD adapter.

It’s a 2023. It’s possible they changed some things and it isn’t supported. That’s what I’m wondering…

Hmm. I had CarPlay on I can try with it off. It’s a Bluetooth reader that I’ve had for a while, LElink or something like that. I’ve used it a bunch with my Bolt and it always sent all data. But I’ve had it a few years so not sure.

OK. FYI your signature says 2024 Mach-E. My guess is you're using an adapter that isn't fast enough.

Not all ODB2s support EVs, I had to return one because I didn't pay attention when I got it in Amazon

Oops. Thanks. I fixed that.
Ok thanks for the suggestion. I’ll see if I can find one that is better quality that isn’t too expensive.

i am noticing that there was a recent update to both AA, and to CarScanner.... I cannot get carscanner to connect to my phone at all anymore.... somebody broke something.

Ok I just figured it out. I just had to customize the screen a bit. The ones that are there by default are the wrong sensors (at least for this model year). So I just looked through the sensor list while charging and replaced the ones that weren’t working.

Just curious, which profile were you using? Wouldn't think the Mach-E & Lightning profile would have the wrong sensors.

Just the default after selecting the Mach E profile. Possible I didn’t set the layout up right… I’m new to the app so not totally sure. But I definitely selected the right sensor profile.
