Yes, exactly. I put only in superchargers from Illinois to Alabama and it only selected one supercharger and had me stopping at blink, ev connect and electrify America. I tried different ways and it still came up with the same result

My method is to use ABRP on my phone; it almost exclusively selects Tesla Superchargers, then use Google maps to navigate (a simple "Tesla [city name]" search usually works). It's worked for 21 Tesla charge sessions so far this trip...

Yeah I can see doing that. It seems to work in Google Maps when I share from ABRP but when I try sharing it with Apple Maps it adds many more stops (from 6-14), It didn’t do that with Google. Since I use iOS I would prefer to use that but that doesn’t seem feasible at the moment

Does ABRP differentiate between Tesla V2 vs V3+ ?

Yes. In ABRP settings, choose "Chargers and Networks", then "type of chargers", then select both CCS and NACS.

I'm thoroughly fed up with Apple Maps after using it on a road trip. It's way too conservative and annoying when it thinks you'll be below 20% at any point. It wanted to do the trip with 6 stops, I only needed 3. It keeps trying to add chargers or reroutes you odd ways to save 1% if it thinks you'll possibly be below 20%. And you can't set the threshold. If it listened to it, I might still be charging after driving through the boondocks. Range estimates were also way off. % on arrival goes down about 10-15% over the course of the drive to the next charger.

The above is in addition to the fact it won't route to NACS adapter Superchargers yet.

Lucky for you your Apple maps must have worked for your car. I'm pretty sure my phone is running nav for someone else's car (That's driving 200 feet to the left and behind me).

That nice, mine doesn't even show my location half the time, or the arrow flips back and forth from my current location to my starting location every other second. And sometimes the map decides to zoom all the way out so I can see which continent I'm on.

It’s underneath vehicles-Mustang Mach-e and then in the next screen that pops up to add network. You can add Tesla there but regardless if you have those selected it seems to be navigating to the same networks each time, just not mostly Tesla in my case
When you say underneath vehicles and then the mustang is this being done inside the car under CarPlay or can you do this also on the phone because I don’t see anything that says vehicles on my Apple Maps on the phone?

I’m an Apple fanboy as well? but, for our MME, I have found that a better route planner is worth the subscription fee! Apple Maps is great when you’re trying to navigate around a local area but for a long distance trip, I always rely on ABRP!

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/a-better-routeplanner-abrp/id1490860521

(PS, ABRP is available for android as well. I just don’t have the link.)

Android auto doesn't currently let you filter by v3 or v4 super chargers either. I put in a feature request to add that.

The integrated navigation system in the Ford Mach e is garbage. Why doesn't work it's slow doesn't react well gives you horrible information and the worst part about it is is it when you turn the car on it from time to time just automatically navigates you to nowhere this means that there's something seriously wrong with the underlying core OS running in the background and the stupid screen and they need to fix it which they haven't done in the last three years if I didn't have CarPlay support I would find the whole screen absolutely useless the maps finding EV stations and all that junk is just a big waste of resources there's no reason to have all that in there there should just be a plug for your phone android and CarPlay and let those tools do that work for you but they want to subscription service they want you to keep paying them. Well I'd rather look at things on a little screen then pay for something that barely works on a big screen I'll tell you that much.

Once Apple Maps is updated to add NACS as a plug type (currently mine only shows CCS1 and J1772) or they breakdown Tesla Superchargers into Tesla and Tesla NACS networks will this work.

I cut Apple some slack on this, even Ford doesn’t have this together yet.
