Ford Mustang Mach-E Car scanner battery question 1000015976
so I accidentally charged my Mach E GT to 100% this morning and I ran some errands and the in car percentage still shows 99%. I checked in car scanner and see that the actual energy to empty is 81.15kwh. Does that mean that it's okay to leave it a day or two on that state of charge since it's still 10kwh from max? Normally I only charge to 90%. This is actually the first time in 8mo of ownership I've charged to 100%. I probably worry about the battery too much... should i go drive it around until it's less than 90%?

I would bring it down to 90% if it was going to set for 2 days without being driven Maybe I am over cautious.

It won’t cause any measurable degradation that you will notice in two days. Especially as a one off.

If you want to be extra safe, in an abundance of caution, you can run it down 5-10%. Even 5% will help.
