Has anyone had an issue with CarPlay? I am unable to connect and can find no reason why. Also, the dealer told me the park assist functionality has been removed. ????

Is there a reason? Will they be bringing it back?
My understanding was it was due to chip shortages. I don’t think it will be back.

I have it in my 21 and have never used it. Folks on here who have used it generally claim it’s slow, scary, and unnecessary. YMMV!

That’s a great picture!

Any specifics on your CarPlay issues? Wired or wireless?
I’m wired because I use the car’s hotspot for internet access. If CarPlay doesn’t start in a normal amount of time, I’ll unplug it and plug it back in and 98% of the time it will connect. This is not unique to the MME or Ford. That has been an issue for me in any vehicle that supports CarPlay.

Park Assist is not “scary”. It’s a bit cumbersome to use in some urban environments (where it’s most valuable) because it sometimes passes up valid parking spots. Also, people tend to pull right behind you when parking which can confuse it.

Thanks. The photo was great in that it captured the sunset that I didn’t even notice. There was a setting on my iPhone that had to be changed to allow it to connect. It was buried deep in the phone. The guy at the dealership said he’d not seen it happen but was able to fix it! Working fine now.

I have a 2023 and didn’t know it was removed - never saw a need for it with the 360 camera
