CarPlay rounded corners are gone!

According to Ford on Twitter, from one of the OTA updates (power-ups), the rounded corners are now gone in Apple CarPlay. Just switch your CarPlay to use the black background and the rounded corners disappear from all views.

Awesome to see this and instrument cluster nav have been added. Now they just need to let CarPlay expand to utilize the extra space when you shrink the cards, then it will be perfect!

Still rounded corners on mine. Have had two updates to car since getting it and iPhone is fully updated. Curious when the squared corners will come into effect.

Yep, no changes for me either. I am always on the black background. Still rounded and no instrument cluster nav for any of the three carplay nav options, only the built-in nav.

I don’t have anything new in the front display, but the rounded corners are gone.

It’s a mystery then. I just double checked...car & IOS fully updated...still rounded corners with any chosen app. ?‍
