Changes coming to Public Charging app

It looks like 2024 Lightnings (and probably 2025s) are finally starting to get Tesla Superchargers in Ford Connected Navigation (at least for some folks in EAP):

It's about time. But as someone mentioned a couple of posts back, you still have to pay for connected services if you want to use the in-car nav with the new chargers being viewable. This is the direction that a lot of the car manufacturers are going. I will not pay to use the nav.

This will make me so happy if it comes to me. I use the built in nav because I like it better than Apple Maps. It could still be better, but Tesla in the nav is a big deal!

Yes, all you Android Auto users have a better experience. You deserve to feel smug about it.

If this come to be, Apple should pay Ford for all the users who didn’t go to Android for a better third party route planner.

A large part of me switching to Android in the last couple months was the better EV routing in my MachE. Plus iOS26 really turned me off, heh.

Yes! If my parents could figure out something other than FaceTime to talk with their grandkids, I would have switched.

Hehe! Yeah I'm on iOS and my mom and other fam including sister are on Android. When we do video calls, my 85 year old mother will use WhatApps. Fortunately, I didn't have to teach her how to use it on her Android phone bc that would have been painful.
