Understand that putting an EV in a 1967 fastback body is probably a niche market thing, so Dearborn won't do this itself. But if Dodge can put out an electric muscle car why can't Ford?

Brand-new 1967 Ford Mustangs ready to 'charge' for a shocking price | Fox News

I didn't see any threads about this.

Looks like there using the same center console bin :D
Output is quoted at 536 horsepower and 1,120 lb-ft of torque……….

And we thought our GTs died at higher rpm……..

If it’s geared anything like our cars, that peak torque would happen around 25 mph, but by 50 mph the torque would be less than half!

The math- we go around 10 mph for every 1000 rpm.

Hp = tq x rpm/ 5252.

So 536 hp would be 1120 tq at 2513 rpm (25 mph).

By 5252 rpm, tq would drop to 536 (52 mph).

That’s assuming a perfectly flat hp curve (which EVs can come close to pulling off). If not flat, the tq would be even less at those speeds.

The acceleration would be absolutely insane……… for less than 2 seconds. No wonder the 0-60 is still slower than us (3.9).
