Charging Error

I have a FORD charging Station Pro since I got my ride in July. Never had an issue. Install by a professional and inspected by county.

with all this cold weather, I plugged it in on Friday and have just let it sit in the garage plugged in all weekend and Monday. Driving another vehicle with these road conditions. Have it set to precondition at 6:45 am for usual leave for work M-F

i have been ignoring it since I am not driving it, got to work and looked at my Ford Pass app and noticed it has a charging error. The charge station app says “Charge Station Failed” and is red.

Do I need to leave work and unplug it and reset the charge station or can it wait until the end of the work day?

It can wait. If you have the Ford Charge Station Pro installed outside, it's possible that the installer didn't seal the wire entry good enough, and moisture got in. When you unplug, see if the station reverts to a blue light. If it doesn't, turn off breaker, wait 30 seconds, turn back on. If you get a blue light, then it's good, and you can plug in and see what happens.

I will do just that

I came home when out driving my truck and saw mine red. Turning off breaker reset the error. I believe there was a power issue that caused mine as it happened in a thunder storm and I had to reset clocks in the house.
