After being stuck on 1.7.1 since November of 21, my dealer updated my car to the latest update. This took a few days but they got it. That was in April. Fast forward to this past week and my car for the first time since November received a OTA. Now I’m no longer able to charge above 32 amps. Sometimes it will charge for a few hours, or for less than an hour. I first noticed this at work and thought maybe there was an issue with the charger. It’s a 80amp ChargePoint. I reset it and still got the message. The car just freaks out over 32 amps. I came to this conclusion because at home I have the Ford connect charger and I can adjust the amps. I love this car, but at this point I’m exhausted on the glitches and dealer visits. I’m hoping this can be fixed by another OTA. Thoughts or experiences with this? @Ford Motor Company

I think 2.8.2 is just a coincidence, that wouldn't have updated any of the charging modules. This seems like a settings issue. Delete your charging locations completely and see if it charges without issue. Then re-add them.

Also power cycle your charger at home by flipping the breaker.

I will try this. Seems weird it was right after, could be a coincidence. I’ll check back. Thank you!

I deleted the location, reset the charger and 10 minutes later I get “plugged in but not charging. Goes into the dealer for the 6th time I guess?. I love the car and one of the biggest advocates for it, i Even bought a lightning too. I sure hope it’s just software glitches that will improve in time. @Ford Motor Company

After I brought my car in for the windshield recall and the CSP my car ran into charging issues too. I brought it back and they fixed it, but broke lane centering. I will be bringing it back next week for them to hopefully fix that.
