Been driving out Mach E for 3 months now and it currently has 3,600 miles on it. We charge at home via a 240V wall outlet installed in our garage. Up until a week or so ago, everything has been smooth. Last week my encountered a message upon entering and starting the csr. It was “Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power”. Functions on car came up very slowly, but it did not prevent her from driving it. For the next couple of charges, car would charge to 100%, but only reflects 160-170 miles on full charge rather than the typical 205 miles. Took to local Ford dealership, but they stated nothing was wrong.

Has anyone else experienced this error message with subsequent lower than normal miles after charging?

I'm surprised they didn't update the PCM and its associated modules. I think there's a TSB for your concern. If not, tell them you have excessive fan noise when charging and reference the TSB for that concern. That should get them to do the updates.

The Powertrain Malfunction message is not normal.

Seeing wildly different numbers of predicted range is completely normal.
