That message applies when you hit 100%. The message she got at 80% is a different scenario. IIRC, EA implemented this 80% fee at certain, busy charge locations to encourage unplugging at 80%. This frees up spots faster when people are waiting since the charge rate slows significantly for most cars past 80%. It isn’t in effect at every EA location, just some.

No, the message at 80% is from Ford, and is sent in every fast charging session at 80%.

Lucky me, I am heading on a three leg trip that includes Vegas, Park City and then Yellowstone this weekend. My first planned charge is at Ionna in Vegas then second stop will be Beaver UT at Ionna. Taking my Escalade IQ which has awesome range and 800V/350kw charging.

Never looked up an Escalade IQ needless to say had to pick myself up after I saw the price of it. It better get good mileage.
