Closing Frunk

I read where u can close the frunk easily by holding it 10 or 12 inches up and letting it go and it will latch. Does this work for anyone? I have tried it and mine won't close unless I use both hands and press down pretty firmly.

There are a couple of threads on this in the forums. Here’s one from a month or so ago. You’re not alone, the Frunk is air tight with great seals and the hood is light.

In one of those threads is a video that shows the best technique I have found: drop it closed to get the first latch to catch, and then push down firmly AND HOLD IT THERE for a second and the second latch catches. You have to hold it there or the rubber seal pushes it back up before the latch catches
