Combining X-plan and Ford Options incentive and ordering in MA?

I'm in the market for a Mach-E and was very happy to find this forum.

Thanks to my brother-in-law and the forum I'm now familiar with X-Plan pricing (and already joined the MCA!) and Ford Options, but I can't figure out how to combine them with respect to the pricing shown on Ford's site. I've seen multiple folks post pricing tables showing X-Plan pricing plus a $2,500 incentive for Ford Options, and I can get the the X-Plan pricing table, but the incentive column simply says N/A, and if go to the Ford Options page, or pricing for ordering a car, I don't see any way to combine the X-Plan pricing any incentives, and don't see info on the Ford Options incentive...

If anyone can help, these are the questions I have:
*If I configure the car online, how do I get it to show me the X-Plan pricing with Ford Options (or any other) incentives? In MA, there's a $2500 tax-credit if the price is below $50K, and my configuration without incentives is just over $50K, so I want to make sure I can get under the limit...

*And can I then 'order' the car online now (before having to wait 90-days of MCA membership)?

*Any suggestions on which particular dealer to use (I'm in Newton, MA) or how to find a good one and confirm they will honor the pricing/incentives?

*And once I order it, can I subsequently cancel the order and get my deposit back and/or buy a car from inventory once my 90 days are up? In particular, at this point I may want to get a 2022 model, so depending on the changes, and timing, may want to redo the order once those are available...

You've got a lot of questions in one post, which I think are all answered in existing posts here on the forum (use the search button on the forum to try and locate them).

But also, these are exactly some of the questions you'll want to pose to prospective salespeople at the dealerships you're willing to travel to to take delivery of the vehicle. It's best to communicate with them via email so that you have their responses in writing.

Some answers for you...

X-plan and various incentives like Options bonus cash don't come into play until the day you sign the purchase or lease contract and take delivery of the car. So, your x-plan qualified membership won't matter until that day, but you need to mention this now with prospective dealers because you need to know of they'll sell the Mach-E to you under that plan. (It's their choice to participate.)

The fordpartner.com web site will say N/A in the incentives column until you fill in your home zip code on that page. Then it will change to show current incentives or it might say N/A if there aren't any available.

I went xplan and it was great, saved around $700 on msrp PLUS don't forget the xplan caps doc fee at less than $100. You absolutely can order your car BEFORE the 90 day window. You can also generate your pin (it's good for a year), but you might want to wait to generate it for a bit yet.

The options table. This has gotten confusing, if you go to the xplan site and enter your zip code as you say under the incentives column it shows "N/A" but I'm told if you go to the ford.com site it will show the incentives. So this is probably something you'll need to speak with your dealer about. Also make sure and get it writing your dealer will accept xplan, not all will.

I'll explain my scenario, this may help. I went to the dealer to order my car, they actually had me log on to the ford website build the car and order, put deposit thru that. Then they confirmed the order. NOTE: when the build summary came up, it showed to prices, one was "total MSRP" and "dealer selling price" , my dealer had a $5k markup which was added there. I spoke with the GM of the dealership who agreed to give me xplan and msrp. So that wasn't an issue. BUT a lot of dealers do have the "dealer selling price" added at that time on the summary, so verify your situation.

If you order a car now, it'll most definetly be a 2022 model year. Other people have indeed cancelled their order when they found one on a lot or another buyer cancelled. They also got the $500 refunded. But as you point out you HAVE to be a member of MCA for 90 days at time of delivery.

I love my car and 3.5 months into ownership.

actually , starting in July the fordpartner options box no longer displayed anything other than "N/A" Here's one I did today just to see if it's changed. I don't know if that means the incentives are no longer offered. It's really a moot point for OP this early in the process. Since he won't have a car for some months hard to say what the incentives will be then.
