Configuring instrument cluster display

If the MME is similar to my BMW's, when ever there is a freeze potential, it will display the outside temperature and freeze warning icon. Looks like that is what is going on here...

I just dont understand how we don't have an "RPM" but for energy, like using energy and regen braking. Like seriously.... how do we not have that. I already submitted feedback to Ford support about it, but it's just insane to me.

The five year old Chevy volt has this. It's awesome. It tells you output, and regen in KW. I haven't seen another electric car that has that feature.

There’s definitely ways that we can customize it now, but nothing of much depth. Like you can have the speed centered instead of to the right if you turn off all the driver assistance features

I previously had the battery show up as a percentage instead of a bar on the instrument cluster. Anybody know where that setting is?

If the car is parked and the car is running when you open the door it will tell you the percentage on the bar. When driving in Engage Mode I normally just turn on the cruse control for a second and it will display the Bat % on the left.

One of the most recent software updates seems to have completely removed the centered speedometer “option”. I’ve disabled all of the driver assistance features and yet I still have the useless MME icon in the middle of my instrument cluster. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there another way to get the centered speedometer back or am I just stuck hoping that Ford fixes this in a subsequent software update?

Yes, everyone has. There are dozens of pages of discussion about it across many threads. You're stuck with it until or unless Ford decides to change it again.

I believe it was 6.8.0 (which I haven’t gotten yet) that did this to the IPC display. ??

Unfortunately 6.8.0 broke/changed the instrument panel layouts. Hopefully Ford will fix it. Send in feedback using the Record Feedback app on the cars touchscreen.

Did you figure out how to change between the compass and outside temperature?

You'll have to dig, but people did it by using FDRS and swapping them over.

Like the 'jail bars' on the GTs and others? adding that to non GT Mach Es
