Connectivity not working even after multiple resets and fuse pulls

Hello, my wife just bought a used '21 Mach E Premium and she's been loving it so far, but a slight annoyance right now is that we can't connect the car to FordPass, no software update, can't connect to our home wifi/phone hotspot (it connects for like 2 seconds and then disconnects), and the navigation can't search up any addresses or locations. I have an appointment set up with Ford coming up next week, but wanted to make sure that I've tried every option I can before possibly having to buy a new modem as the car is just past 40k miles.

I've looked for solutions and have done the following:

• Sync 4 reset with the volume and skip button twice
• Fuse 11/12 & 18/19 & 21/22 & the connector cable with the brown tape a couple of times
• 12v battery unplugged more times than I can count
• Master reset twice

Even after all of that, the connectivity screen would still show the connection is on, but usually there's a "Please wait..." that pops up every 5 seconds and if I turn off any thing on that screen (bluetooth, wifi, hotspot, connectivity) the car doesn't seem to want to turn it off and it's back on again in a second. At this point, we're debating on not getting the OTA updates and functionality of the car, but we only received 1 key as well so if it's lost then we would also be stuck.

Any advice on what else I can try would be helpful.

Buy a new remote key fob online for a 2022 f-150 lightning, it can open the frunk , Walmart ,eBay ,Amazon or whatever works for you and program in your second key. You can search this forum for the programing process, there is a maximum number of programmed key fobs. So you will need to delete what ever isn’t yours to add a new key fob. Also clean up the users list to remove previous owners and scumbag salesmen, if it’s not you delete them!
You should demand the second key from your scumbag dealer first and also the master programming code card ( the code is also hidden on the passenger side) search the forum for exactly where.
If you don’t have any luck with the scumbag, you should take the key you purchased online to a Ford dealer and have it added by them.

Having performed both fuse and battery disconnects and having performed Master Resets, I would say that you might need to have a dealer service department look at the car. You might first want to go to the FDRS thread (https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...are-willing-to-look-up-info-for-others.10230/ ) and ask for one of the volunteers there to look up your VIN to see if there have been any errors reported and its service history.

It was the 2021 Job1 cars that had only one key. 2021 Job2 cars and newer came with 2.

Regardless of whether this is an early 2021 or not, it only matters that @dennietho got one key. @OH2AZ2OH is correct that the only option if you need 2 keys is to purchase a new key and have either a certified locksmith or dealer program it in and remove any missing keys.

Ford did make it right by giving a second key, it should have been with the car, also important is the master code card. Dealers like to keep access to cars they don’t own, because they are scumbags!
I had a second Lightning key fob added before the Ford extra key fob showed up.
