Hi all,

First post here so hey!

Absolutely thrilled and super excited that last night I ordered a new MME Premium Ext Range RWD in Glacier Grey.

Really looking forward to this after I test drive the car last week and was really impressed in both the ride and visual look of the car!

I am ordering this through work, and currently unable to specify a rough lead time. I appreciate this is a bit of a back of a fag packet estimation, but does anyone know roughly was kind of lead time I can expect for the above model? Within 3 months? 3-6? 6-9? Etc

Thanks!

I never knew estimation was done on the backs of fag packets. In my country, we use envelope backs.

Wow! How exciting!!

I pre-ordered and paid that refundable deposit online I seem to remember March 2020 and Stangy turned up ready for collection early June 2021.

L-o-o-o-o-n-g wait, I nearly burst!

And then, the day before I was due to collect from dealer I had given my 4-year Outlander to son & family, transferred log book, he taxed & insured it so there was no going back.

Handover appointment was at 11am next morning and at 9am was told Ford had put a stop on all handovers, road testing etc etc of new MMEs because one degree between 359 deg lattitude & zero had not been programmed into emergency call system - that next 2-week wait seemed as endless as the previous 15-month wait seemed.

I just know you will not have such a wait, hope it’s not long now for you, it’ll be worth it, I’ve been enjoying mine since and driven it almost 100,000 miles, what a car?

We had a 10 mo wait for our 2022. Please do let us know what the time frame for yours ends up being. I'm asking for a friend who's considering getting an MME. Thanks.

Hey all,

So I've been given an estimated delivery date of August 2025.... yikes!

That's for UK mind, not sure if the same would apply for the states.

9 months and counting!

Cheers!

Not bad at all.

Mine took 14 months.

  • 2022 converted to 2023 - 5 months for that debacle.
  • Module shortage sat in Mexico for 6 months.
  • Destroyed in rail car accident - replacement took 3 months more.

Are there no Mach Es in stock anymore, looking it would appear 82 are in stock ready to go, from GTs down to Selects or are these cars not actually available. Is there a reason people are placing factory orders and waiting for months, I am probably missing something as per usual?

company lease schemes I assume?

Not sure! I suspect they are becoming more popular amongst the company car drivers, especially with the extended range option.

But I've been told August 2025 will be the earliest mine will be delivered! Not sure if it's because of the colour as I believe Glacier Gray is new? Or are they all that long?

I assumed the long lead times as buying through company car scheme either salary sacrifice or a full blown company car involves going through a lease company, I imagine they don’t buy from existing ford stock (I could be very very wrong) and have to place factory orders hence the long wait.

Lovely cars, no matter what the colour except star white, looks like a kitchen appliance with wheels?

just went back over the thread. August 2025! FFS no way that’s bonkers and not worth the wait baring in mind what’s available right now. EVs are moving on quickly I would be a little concerned personally at that wait for a car that by that time will probably be due a facelift/major overhaul around that time IMO

sorry I keep adding, friend of mine just ordered via a company lease scheme an ID5 arrives February 2025, some perspective.
