Damaged roof paint

Hello
I have noticed strange chips, divots and ripples in the roof paint of my Mach E. They are throughout the roof at random spots (see pics)
This is only on the roof and on top of lip of trunk only (both are black) but no damage/imperfections on the rest of the car (gray metalic).

Did anybody seem something like this before? I have searched this forum but didnt see posts on it.
Any suggestions helpful to arm me for the inevitable battle with Ford.

OOF that sucks, looks like damage from bird droppings. WIthout a protective barrier on the paint, droppings left in the heat will cause the paint to expand and contract and wrinkle up like this. One of the major reasons why it's important to coat your vehicle, as you cannot always realistically remove any contamination before it does damage. In the heat...that isn't long.

I highly doubt you'll have any sort of options through Ford to resolve this without a cost incurred.

Yes, bird crap is like ACID. I learned that on my 01 Suburban and a huge Gull crap that left a palm sized “etch” on the rear quarter. So a good coat of wax is essential and try to clean any droppings off as soon as you can. My Hyundai EV has a spot, waxed, that etched in just a few days. Its “water” blue and attracts bird droppings like crazy.

I am sorry to hear this. Based on my experience I would make sure that a body shop performs the paint work not a touch up company in a truck.
