Has anybody been able to utilize the onboard cameras for dash cams? I know there is a patch you can put on a USB for the Tesla and it records using the cameras. Wondering if the Mach E can do the same.

No patch is needed on a Tesla. It's a standard feature. I don't think anyone has hacked ford's camera to do the same.

The camera angles aren’t right for that kind of feature. Tesla designed the camera angles with Sentry Mode in mind. If you “hacked” your expensive car, it would show the ground mostly, and lots of shoes. Not designed for it. There’s also likely little storage for such data requiring a hardware upgrade.
