I've had my car since July and I still have 50kw left on my free charging. After my kids started school I had to visit a DCFS maybe once a week, prior to that I could manage with my L1 charger.

I recently got 240 installed so now I can actually replenish my miles over night if I needed too. I don't really see myself using a DCFS anytime soon unless we do a road trip. I like to get the car to 20-30% and then charge it up to 80%. I plan on charging to 100% at least once a month now that I have a charger that won't take a week to charge :)

Ford recommends not charging above 90% regularly, unless you really need to (like on a road trip, or a really long daily commute). It's harder on the battery and degrades it faster. Not massively so, but lots of 100% charges chip away at it faster. (As does heavy use of DCFC.)

Having said that, once a month probably isn't too bad.
