My dealer held a guy's Mach E for 3 months (military transferring into area) before he picked it up.
Not all dealers are bad.
That’s awesome.

Did he do the paperwork before they held it?

Again, nothing to lose by doing the paperwork now. Electronic signatures will take you less time than it takes responding to this thread.

You're right. I don't know when the paperwork was done but the dealer enjoyed having the Mach E to allow people to see it.

Sorry about not updating this!! I've been swamped at work.
I did the paperwork and picked up the Mach E Thursday night. It was a seamless experience & the dealer honored the price when ordered (not the current MSRP). I was asked about the Ford extended warranty and I'll get it soon (at dealer cost).
I looked at the Ford Options plan but I think Ford is trying to disincentivize it based on their interest rates. I just wrote a check, signed the paperwork, and drove home. The whole process took about 30-40 minutes (with a lot of chit-chat).
I couldn't be happier and there are some REALLY GOOD dealers out there. I'm sorry if you're stuck with one of the bad ones.

You could have at least parked it straight. :p
I’m glad it’s not just me. The car is an unusual height and it took me 2 months to figure out how to park in the middle of a spot. Kept being too far right or left and crooked.

Hearing about your experience at Cannon put away any doubts I had about ordering from them. My MME should (hopefully) arrive there sometime around the end of August. Good to see another MME in the vicinity.

Congrats on the car! Curious, what options interest rate led you to this?
I was quoted ~6% but this was the first time they had looked at Ford Options

Sounds like they quoted the “I don’t feel like doing the paperwork” rate.

Like Dancefreak said, that’s not the rate.

I just went on the Ford website and built a GTPE, at the end the options shows apr of 1.4%.
