What was your charge mode?
My LVB was 94% this morning with "Battery refresh" as the charge mode.
I don't really know what the various modes mean though.
Here is what I've seen so far

  • Fast Regen Allowed 96% SOC 13.30v
  • Slow Regen Allowed 87.% SOC 14.30v
  • Conventional Charging 86% SOC 14.30v
  • Battery Refresh 89% SOC 14.40v

This morning it said Battery Refresh at 94% with LVB at 13.30v.
Curious what all the various modes are for and when triggered. ?????

Oh interesting, didn’t notice that parameter on CarScanner, it did say 4 under charge mode I think though and was at 14.3 or .4

Refresh would mean it’s going to charge it up probably all the way to 15V to balance the cells. May be triggered by a low SoC or just on a periodic cycle.

I think the regen modes are holdovers from ICE vehicles where Ford’s smart charge system is used. When you brake it will use the alternator more to charge up the battery sort of like regen. The mode parameters might be reused but mean something different on the Mach-E, FORScan is just interpreting them the same way as an ICE vehicle.

Deep Sleep? I know the normal sleep happens, but first time I’ve seen deep sleep in 7 months. Drove car 6 hours beforehand.
I've seen both deep sleep and the typical "You're seeing the last details since your vehicle went to sleep...".

The only time the car was actually in deep sleep was right after I purchased over a year ago and it was at the detailers for PPF. It was there for about a week and did actually go into deep sleep, where the infotainment screen would show a message when you started it with a count-down that it was leaving deep sleep. If you turned the car back off before the count-down ended it would stay in deep sleep. After the count-down ended it booted up like normal.

Yeah, my stereo sounds fine, so don’t think it’s DSP, guess just another one of those things. I have it happen every now and then and it will resolve, first time I’ve had it stay like this after a couple key cycles.
The DSP bug applied to cars built in and before 3/2021. Mine was 3/2021.

All is fine now with my car. Alerts and chimes back to the audio system, not a single beep from the IPC ?ā€ā™‚

BTW, just noticed your signature is now a carbonized gray. I thought you had an infinite blue. Did you trade?

Good thoughts. Sounds plausible.

I was thinking the Fast regen referred to the HVB energy dump process that can sometimes occur when a vehicle is parked for extended periods.

Your theory sounds more likely though...

Yeah mine was built July 3, 21. No, have always had a carb grey, I had wanted an infinite blue though, that was my first choice, but couldn’t find one :(

Sometimes it's better if it was chosen for you, as in you have no other choice ? I was split down the middle between CG and IB. It was agonizing lol. There were actually cars on dealer lots to choose from. Miss the good old days. That wasn't even that long ago.

What's crazy was that when I went browsing dealer lots one day in 6/2021, I saw the very car I bought. It still had all the white protective stickers and a heavy coat of dust over the entire car, and it was a cloudy day. I took a pic and sent it to a friend and said to him I think I'll go for this *gray* one ?

Yeah I almost settled for a red one, but luckily that took forever to get delivered and then this one became available through someone’s canceled order on here

Seems improbable, vs. updating the door modules which are mentioned in several TSBs.
I agree. They have been updating for the last 3 days. I got the Blue Cruise notification today that it was now enabled. I went to Connected Services and now shows an expiration date of 4/25/23. Woohoo!
