It just depends on my mood. Some days it's unbridled with Aerosmith on the stereo and other days it's Whisper with Kenny G on the stereo. And, the days when I'm in a techie mood it's Engaged so I can see regen braking stats. On those days I listen to tech podcasts.

By the way, have you ever switched between whisper and unbridled while coasting? Or vice versa? It's a trip.

Unbridled when the roads are dry (and/or warm) and I'm by myself

Engage when the roads are dry (and/or) and I'm with my family (wife doesn't like my unbridled drive style)

Whisper when the roads are snowy/icy

Technically, the default in my car is set to whisper-2PD - in case my wife or someone else needs to drive it. Also I use this combo to back out of the garage or a parking spot or to get in. But all driving is done in Unbridled-1PD, and I use pre-set buttons on the door to switch the modes.

I was wondering about this, I'll try this out thanks. No where in the manual does it state this.

Correct. The Brake Coach only works in Engage mode. Why Ford made that decision is anyone's guess.
