If it ends up being a fun zippy little hatchback to drive, it might make it... But that range is tough. Winter will probably drop it to 100 miles, so living between 10% to 80% means 70 miles. Enough for the average commute, maybe some local errands as well, but that's it. Not a road tripper at all. It is really cute, though.149 miles of range for a starting MSRP of $34,095.
It's a nice compact and lightweight city, though.

For that price, a used 2023 Mach E would be a better purchase imo. Starting to see 2023s in the $30k price range.149 miles of range for a starting MSRP of $34,095.

Quoting my own post here lol but I imagine used prices for 2023s will fall further in 2024 due to the tax credit loss. For that price, a used 2023 Mach E would be a better purchase imo. Starting to see 2023s in the $30k price range.
You still snagged a heck of a deal though!I'll put the rest of the deal into perspective.
My MME MSRP was $50,090.
Minus the $4,250 October rebate.
Minus the $500 military rebate.
Minus the $4,000 discount off the MSRP.
Plus no sales tax, 8.9%, sales tax because of the trade-in.
Toss the extended warranty and GAP back in and I'm very upside down.
Did you expect something different from a company that provided basic design for Yugo?Owned a 500x, and although I know the electric engine is very different from the ICE, I despised that car. There were so many issues, and that car was completely falling apart within 5 years.
Well, not that it is much better, but the 500x was mostly Jeep engine and parts at that time. My wife liked it, until it started failing of course.Did you expect something different from a company that provided basic design for Yugo?
So in full disclosure, I have a 2013 Fiat Abarth. I’ve had the car since it was new. Well, some people have had reliability issues with the car, it has treated me very well, and about five years into ownership, It became the full-time dog car. Meaning that whenever we need to take our animals somewhere. They ride in my car. I have been very excited about the 500 E. For months now I’ve been waiting for the US release information. In Europe, the 500 E has some great options. I do not understand how Fiat is managing the release for the US. One color? Small battery? One low power option? I was already to reserve one before yesterday. Now I have no interest. I was going to replace my Fiat with a new one kind of passing the torch of powertrain. If I wait perhaps they will give us options. But now I’m leaning towards ignoring, or looking at the 2025 Mini cooper. Or just getting myself a Mach-E to match my wife’s.149 miles of range for a starting MSRP of $34,095.

We owned a 2013 500eRocket, basically the car was built by BOSCH, not by Fiat/Chrysler. Bosch made the entire chassis, drivetrain, battery, motor system and had Fiat modify the body to fit it and make it tight for the EV needed lines.Owned a 500x, and although I know the electric engine is very different from the ICE, I despised that car.
