It finally happened!
Picked up our Space White Mustang Mach-E Premium Extended Range AWD on the evening of July 13th. It is our No ICE Pony. I also say it is our Horse Of A Different Color.
It showed up at the dealership around noon and we made an appointment for 5. We were out of the dealership around 6:30.
It was an X-plan purchase. There was no attempt to up sell or add on anything, but just filling out and getting all the paperwork signed takes time.
In addition, I received an email from Ford the day I ordered the car.
Email on April 15 that the car was scheduled for production the week of June 7. I could also view my window sticker in the tracker.
Another email on June 9 that said it was built and delivery estimate was July 20 to July 26.
On June 12, another email with a new delivery estimate of July 12 to July 18.
I had been checking off and on in palsapp and on July 2 it showed it was delivered to Kansas City.
Morning of July 13 got a call from the dealer that the truck with the car had just arrived. That is when we made the appointment for 5.
All in all I was happy with the communication but we all know, you can never have enough!
Haven’t had a lot of time to drive much but it is a real joy to drive! Took it up over Lookout Mountain and up into Red Rocks and it is sweet with no shifting, constant power, and regeneration on the downhills.
