It’s different when it’s a foreign company building their, but to their own standards to export vs Chinese brand for Chinese market.

The response referenced other non-Chinese brand vehicles built in China.

You changed the assertion before I did.

I wonder if the Chinese factory will be supplying all of Ford's Asian demand or if there will be another factory to supply other regions of Asia. Also wondering about South American demand... ?‍?

I wouldn't lump Polestar in as they are driven out of Sweden (started as a Volvo tuning house) and simply manufacture in China for all markets.

For Geeley, the China market cars are usually fairly different under the skin (as well with all foreign manufacturers building in China for China). It becomes a China specific supply chain.
